The Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonic Torrent is a highly flexible automated precision cleaning system that is dedicated to medical device and pharmaceutical cleaning. The Torrent is a single chamber front loading rotary basket system that has selectable process steps that include Ultrasonic cleaning, Vacuum Ultrasonic, Spray Rinsing, CDA Blow, Vacuum Drying. Half-Immersion Process optionally available. The user may select basket rotation modes (e.g., clockwise, counterclockwise, angular swing, etc) as desired. The Torrent is a self-contained chamber for immersion cleaning with optional additional reservoirs available to support secondary chemistries or primary rinse functions with reduced water consumption.
The Torrent M sets the stage for a new generation of in-process or final clean ultrasonic cleaning systems that meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 audit trail regulations and GAMP 5 recommendations while simplifying machine IQ and OQ validation in the most demanding Medical and Pharmaceutical applications.
